Panfish near Bowmanville?

Hi guys, I just moved to bowmanville from windsor.. I havent fished on Lake ontario before. So i am wondering if there's any good advice on where i could start my search for some perch..

I have tried at port darlington a few weeks ago and didnt even get a bite.. (still better than a day at work).

I am used to fishing lake erie, and catching perch like crazy..

I am just looking for a spot to do some shore fishing..

any advice is welcomed..
