UV vs Glow Paint or material??

Recommended Posts

I have a variety of spoons with glow paint and tape as well as flies as well as with the UV. I usually hit them up with the flash light before putting them in the water. What is the difference between the 2? Does one glow or last longer than the other?

Skippers Trophy is right on. The UV lures are produced to absorb the UV rays from the sun. Even on a cloudy day there is still an amount of UV rays and UV is the only type of light that can penetrate water as far down as 500 feet.
