Sorry but REALLY bad idea. We have bear here too and even the tamest forget sometimes - just feeding them can create problems down the road, for the bear if not the residents too.

I think it is cool, however, I also think it is risky. Is it a strong suggestion or a law not to feed the wild animals?

If that bear was in my back yard, I would already have the taxidermist ready to make my rug come fall. It is a wild bear - right? Or is it a fenced in pet?

In New York, it's illegal now. Feeding wild bears has led to too many issues later when they lose their fear of people.
