SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Got on the water at about 10:00 after the rain broke. Set up at 80 fow 50 and 60 ft down with the riggers, 30-40 on the dipseys. Worked north towards the 120 fow line. Crossed into 115 and the 60 ft rigger popped. The laker was 27 inches, about 8 lbs. We circled between 120 and 80 from Pultnyville to Hughes. Had three additional releases (one on the 50 ft rigger and two the 30 ft dipsey), but nobody home.

Interesting that there was a lot of surface moss between 120 and 100. Between 100 andd 80 the water was pretty clear of debris. Been gone for a week, looks like the lake was churned up a bit. Had to check the lures regularly for junk. over all, a good morning of fishing!

Take care, and good luck!

thanks for the report Bill....I spend alot of time going out of Bear Creek and working towards that direction, except in the spring working browns off of Ginna. I'll keep a watch for more reports! Wanted to get out today myself.....but weather and kids having homework killed that plan! :)
