can you run magnum spoons as free sliders or cheaters??? I have always run small spoons for cheaters but have read some post that people are using mag spoons???? Thanks.

Shure can. In fact, a MUP rig is a small spoon off the ball and a mag spoon fixed about 5-8 feet above it. Mag UP.

You can even fix a small flasher/fly as a cheater. I've seen it done and it worked.

small spoon 10'back, mag 5'. what release do you guys use for the mag though? stacker release clipped to mup leader and a snap swivel connecting the mup leader to the mainline? or is everyone using half hitch rubber bands

We use Romer releases for fixed cheaters, and on free sliders just a simple clip on the line. We also typically use a 8-12' lead off the ball and 4-5' leaders for the cheaters/sliders.

what brand are the add-a-lines? and where can I get them? I tried to get the captain hook add a lines but captains cove was sold out and they can't find them anymore...
