STAINLESS STEEL SOLID VS 7 STRAND

Hello fellas, I have an opportuntity to buy 4000ft of 20 gauge 35lbs stainless steel 1 strand/solid. What are the pros and cons versus 7 strand stainless steel?

We use single strand mono to bottom bounce in the Chesapeake, but we are talking 25 - 40 feet of water. There are two big differences. First you will only get about half the length of single strand wire on a reel as 7strand. Second the single strand is not nearly as flexible and will kink easily. And here's a third - you will need to use a haywire twist to tie it off and then you also need to protect the tag ends so they don't cut you.
