Dropped it. So far every fish that's hit on one of the new strong flies has come off.. all others stayed on. I need to change out those stupid silver hooks that come dull and no matter how much you sharpen them they never get sharp.

nick i noticed a new meat rig i bought the hook tips were slightly bent towards shank ya gotta get them straight or ya just get a piece of skin and as soon as they turn their gone,,,more important than being razor sharp..... best i can tell ya from the couch...

just saw it was slow and thought ya might need something to do , if ya have good strong pair on needle nose you can straighten them a tad BUT if ya go more than a tad they will break.....I "tweek" all my hooks in florida ,when ya have a fast reacting fish ,the hookup rate is hudge..

Yeah I want to try going back to snubbers also, never used to have so many poor hookups on dipseys, wanna see if the snubbers make a difference.
