Genny closing?

What's this BS about closing off the launch at the genny?

Anybody have the mayor's email address??? The only one I can find requires me to change a bunch of stuff on my computer.

Yeah, the big one. used to be the county launch but now owned by the City. They're going to go ahead with their plans for condos etc. Originally they were going to put in a new launch just a little south but looks like that's scrapped.

Anyone figure out the mayor's email address?

That'd be a stupid move! Are you sure they aren't putting in a launch where the new city docks will be (North of Cheeburger Cheeburger)?

I may be wrong, buy I was under the impression the ramps were going to be closed for a few months while the Hojack railroad bridge was removed..??

When I originally reviewed the plans when working for DEC Fisheries the existing ramp was to be replaced with 2 ramps. One on the west side up near turning point with parking for 12 cars/trailers. Another was to be built on the east side on the old footprint of Stutson Street bridge and again just a few parking places. Neither are built. Rochester the biggest city on the US side of Lake Ontario and facilities for boaters least to be desired. Last winter boaters could have got out all winter. Not only contact the mayor but also The Monroe County Fishing Advisory Board. I don't have a number for them but you can get it from DEC Regional Fish Manager Web Pearsall at 226 2466
