Launched from Long Point...fished both west and east sides and got 6 small lakers....saw bait and marks at 60 fow and could not get anything to go.

We had two eels stuck to our downrigger weights today and both were at least 20+ inches! One sucked the rubber coating off the weight.

These two eels were bigger than the any of the lakers! I hope the eels are not decimating the lake trout population as it seems there are alot around this year.

Same story on my outing as well. Screen looked good at times from AES to LP. Hooked up with 2 lakers, a brown and a salmon all small from 6:30 to 1:00pm. Saw good number of boats and it was a nice day compared to yesterday!

Today was the toughest day for lakers I've had all year. 8 hrs, 1 fish. Very glad to get that one, it was 15 minutes before I had to go.
