Owasco 9/23/12

Had a great day on owasco today. Landed 15-20 lakers(lost track) and 2 rainbows. Dropped another 10-15 fish. I was cursed today. Tons of bait and hooks. Best depth was 80-100 fow. 70 and 50 on riggers with sliders, 155 and 210 on Dipsies. All yeck spoons on riggers and flies on Dipsies. Biggest fish was prob 6 or 7 lbs but they were feisty, silver and put up a nice fight. Had the lake to ourselves. Cant figure out how to post pics on my phone. Best, mark

Hi Mark,I just got back from visiting my 97 year old Aunt in the upper pennisula of michigan and saw your sucess on Owasco with the lakers. were you working the northern end which would be my guess ? I'm hopeing to get out this weekend.Gary

gary, yes on north end. just get in the area, bait and fish everywhere... best, mark

Awesome rainbows, just a hair bigger then mine. HA
