Anyone been hunting the big lake? Just curious what the duck numbers are.

we've been hunting the east end about once a week. not as good as last year but we are getting birds. old squaw and a few scoters. best, mark

In Henderson, the Bluebills were in heavy last weekend along with some Buffleheads and lots of Goldeneye.

I did not duck hunt this weekend but did hear noticeably less shots coming from the lake from my treestand.

The wind/waves were brutal Saturday and early Sunday which could have been the reason for less hunters/shooting.

Lots of diver ducks on the lake near sodus.Alot of mallards were in sodus last week but have moved on south.Best bet is get a good duckboat with a blind .Lots of good shooting and no hassle with landowners.
