The fire department just rescued a man off the ice. he did not fall in. maybe a heart atack is all they said.

Saw a guy go through on Long Pond yesterday. He was about fifty yards from shore. The ice is still not good enough to bother going out to not catch many if anything. Besides the water is way to shallow where the ice is somewhat good. Be safe.

I was on braddocks 1/3/13. ice was spotty at best drilled 7 holes that all ranged from 2.5in to 4in of all white ice as well there was a good coating of snow . a few small pike were caught and no one had any perch and everyone i talked to confirmed the fishing has not be good at all. I fished the south side of the dock and it was about 2ft of water however guys were all over the ice and few inside the docks. Becareful if you go as the ice isnt the best and good luck

ps looks like a guy took a swim about 10 ft off shore on cranberry(foot prints going out then a big hole and foot prints coming back)
