Drift socks

Recommended Posts

give amish outfitters a call, they hooked me up last year

Great company to deal with and a great product! They will size up your boat and set you up with exactly what you need

also FWIW, you want trolling bags, not drift socks.  Drift socks aren't built to withstand the pressures of trolling.  I second contacting Amish Outfitters.  I have had 2 of their 28" Beefy Bags for 6 or 7 years now on my 24' Thompson and they are still as good as new.

Tim hit right on the head! Get trolling bags, not drift socks, they are a different animal. I tried trolling with drift bags just for the hell of it and it was a total waste of time, not too mention they started to rip! If you wanted drift socks for jigging, panfishing, etc..., I would definitely say get one or two sizes larger than recommended for you boat size.

G2 Outfitters bags.

Heaviest duty, not made out of boat cover material, and you can put them away wet and will not mold or mildew like the other ones.  2 inch webbing, very heavy duty and better price.
