Sandy 4/17, quality over quantity

FINALLY got out on the lake and it felt great. Fished solo and went 6 for 7 with the highlights being a 12# male brown and a mid to high teens King at 36' with good girth. First three fish and the last (lost) fish were off the rigger with an orange and gold r&r spoon. The king and two cohos took a jointed j9 Rapala in orange/gold off the boards. The water was translucent chocolate milk. Best fish came from near cowsucker. The King hit hard and took two runs, the second being 150ft! That did NOT suck! Great to be back out. Color of water was better East but the fish just werent there. All fish came from 12-15 ft. of water and were all released. The pic of the King does no justice but here it is. Tight Lines, Tank

  glad you caught some decent fish, looking to take a break from perch fishing and should go north to the big pond. Just not liking these wind forecast AT ALL !!!
