I have a friend looking for a lower unit for 1998 Evinrude 50 HP. If anyone might have one or know where there's one available. Thanks.............PD

That year lower unit is very difficult to find. I know, I had to replace mine last fall. Good luck on your search.

 

If you do not find one, let me know if you are interested in buying a complete motor - same year. I am selling mine. It is the VRO oil injected model with tilt and trim.

Has your buddy looked into getting it rebuilt or is the case shot?
