Seneca Cinco de mayo Laker

Recommended Posts

Fished south end, not much happening all morning.  Ended up 6 miles up west shore 130 fow 90' down glow white spoon caught a nice 28" laker, mission complete.  Salsa covered fish on the charcoal! Yum...  No takers on FF or small spoons water temp on top started at 39.9 got to 50 on west shore before wind came up.  Guess you have to travel north to consistently catch fish on Seneca. Comments?  Still love fishing the crazy lake cause when you figure it out the big ones are there!!

Fished north out of Severne today caught a 4lb brown real early on top before we even had everything set up. That had me thinking it might be a great day but then it was dead rest of the day. We called it quits around 11:30 after not marking any fish or bait to really speak of. Might have to try the north end next time out.

Maybe a bit of rain and a nice west or north blow will get the bait off the bottom of the lake. We did mark a lot of bait 260'  down in 450' of water. The laker had large alewifes in his belly. Good luck all
