Cotton

What the heck is up with all the cotton in the water this year. Black River Bay not too bad but I read Mexico has cotton issues. Oneida lake is nearly not trollable at this time what a PITA.

I think its a high pollen year and the heavy winds we had mid last week blew all that plus the dead dandelions out onto the lakes. The winds were very strong out of the south and I believe it all got pushed out to sea so to speak.

 

It should be gone with the next system

Once the cottonwood goes away it will be flea season.  Oh goody!

I'll second that. Even after letting the cotton dry out on my planer lines for a day it still fights back.

The only thing that is worse is being ALLERGIC to the cotton ....that's me! At least I can still breath with the fleas
