this past weekend

well it's been a while since I've been on, work finally slowed down and finally got the boat out

 

there was a catfish derby in owego this weekend, started Saturday at 7am and ended sunday at 12

 

we keep lines in the water for 25 straight hours, 525 entries we finished in the top 15-20

 

unfortunately, we heard from the head guy, 4 people on the board were being DQ'd for cheating

 

97 youth entries and our youth finished in the top 5

 

at first we thought we had a winner, nope 25# carp

 

 

my buddies nephew did a hell of a job

 

 

 

8.25# this was a hell of a fight in that current

 

 

someone forgot the spatula

 

 

it got cold, trying to stay warm on an all nighter
