bass on seneca and cayuga

Going to seneca lake to do some bass fishing next week. Has anyone been fishing either lake? If so are the bass in shallow or spawning yet? Any info would be great.

My boat is in marina on South end and bass have been spawning in marina around dock post. Some have moved back out to lake. My daughter caught two off my charter boat at the dock that were in the 5lb range last week with a worm and bobber. LOL

Thanks for the info. Wasnt sure with the cool spring whether it slowed the spawn. Seems like the trout in the lake are still pretty shallow as well so was just wondering on the bass.

I think I'd head to Cayuga or keuka or even sodus bay instead of Seneca

not nearly as many everyone always fishes Cayuga, keuka, or the bay

If the wind is bad you also have the option of fishing in the Seneca River from either lake for bass.
