What software are you guys using to edit vids?

I just started taking fish vids this past trip and was wondering what you all are using to make some of these vids. I have lots of cuts/ splicing to do!

Windows movie maker is a decent basic software package, plus it was free.

Look into the Sony Vegas line... a pretty decent software can be bought for less than $50 and is MUCH MUCH easier to use than movie maker.  It's more stable and will allow you to put together quick clips.  I use Sony Vegas on my windows laptop and iMovie on my Mac.  Most of my salmon videos are done on my laptop since I do them up at the lake.  I used to do them on moviemaker, but it got too time consuming.  I think I got my software off amazon for like $25 or so.

i use Movie Maker on Windows 7   Seems to do ok.  A little hard at first but it can do a lot.

Go pro has an editor for free on their site that works pretty well.  I've been playing with it a little and it seems pretty user friendly.
