I would love to take my kids to catch a few. We have always headed to the west of bear creek and encountered dead water with no fish. I have almost given up on trying to fish Lake Ontario smallmouth. My kids don't have enough patient to troll for salmon. I stare at all the equipment I have and wish I lived back down in the finger lakes where the bass were everywhere. Any advice would be awesome.
