Montauk 10/5 -10/7

Member Gratefultodd and I made our 3rd annual trip to Montauk. Fishing was good weather not so much.Fished Saturday afternoon in to the evening picked up 4 bass off the point.Fished Sunday all day  picking up 4 or 5 more bass a nice mix of Porgies, Seabass and some blues. Sunday night the wind began to blow.Monday morning wind was sill blowing hard so we went on a party barge jigging diamond jigs.We picked up about 10 blues and 1 bass. On our way back in we saw conditions were doable just out side the harbor. We trolled umbrella rigs and picked up 1 small Bass and dropped one. Our top 2 Bass were 23 and 24lbs.

Nice.  Hope some of those fish make a run up the Chesapeake around Thanksgiving.
