Silver lake access

Looking to fish there tmrw, any advice on where to park and start looking for panfish. Also is the pickerel fishing any good?

  Can park at state launch area, but I was told as of last week it was a waste of time 2 friends were there All day & No fish.

Ok thanks! Made my mind up. Conesus it is tmrw. At least I have been getting a pike or two each time. Makes up for a bunch of panfish. Lol

Better pike fishing and bigger at silver. Find a hole in the weeds and catch the gills while your tipups soak along the weed edge (10-12') at least u can keep some of the gills from silver. Unless the crappie move in, I won't be back to conesus. Too many better options

Yup, Mack's is a place to park and short walk to the lake.

 Go out deep jig up a dozen dink Perch. I have caught some of my best Pike on Silver with Perch (match the hatch) I haven't bought pike minnows in years.

Makes me kinda glad to be inside cleaning perch right now (from yesterday....thawing out the fish and me ) Good luck out there....pretty darned cold today....
