Avon Perch Tournament

Is the Avon Perch Tournament on Kueka still April 5th and is the ice gone around the northern part of the lake? Want to make the trip but Kueka is 525 miles away.

It will be ice there for a while yet unless we get a real warm spell with rain etc. This year the whole lake froze up.

Yes, the tournament is on April 5th. Avon Anglers website does not seem to have been updated since last Fall. However, details of the perch derby are on their Facebook page.

As of Friday 21 st of March they are still ice fishing the north end of both sides. 8 or more inches by state park launch. By the 5th you might be able to fish by boat only a small area by launch Branchport end
