April LOTSA Meeting and Fishing Seminar

Recommended Posts

On Thursday April 10th at 7pm the Lake Ontario Trout & Salmon Association (LOTSA) will be sponsoring a Seminar with Charter Captain Matt Yablonsky (Wet Net Charters) who is featured in an article on Small Boat Spring Trolling in the  Spring issue of the Lake Ontario Outdoors magazine.  Matt is well known for consistently finishing high on the leader boards of numerous Derbies and Tournaments over the past few years. He fishes from a smaller boat that he trailers to where the fish are like many of our members. He will be covering the techniques and setups he utilizes to consistently take large Kings from his smaller boat.  Matt is an experienced presenter and this happens at a perfect time for those of us that need to tweak our programs some, just before our Spring Kings bust loose in LO! Matthew Sawrie, the owner of Torpedo Divers who is featured in the latest issue of Great Lakes Angler magazine will also be there to talk to us about his experiences fishing for those really deep Kings using his new Torpedo Sea Diver which he has tested down to 400ft.

LOTSA is a group of mainly weekend recreational fishermen who are dedicated to the enhancement of the Lake Ontario Sport-Fishery including the pen rearing project at Olcott. Each meeting also features a sharing of information the current fishing conditions. So come join us and become more successful at fishing Lake Ontario!

The meeting will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 4487 Lake Avenue (Route 78 two miles north of Lockport), Lockport, NY 14094. The Seminar is open to the

public and free to attend. See www.lotsa.org for any questions.
