Hello, I was thinking of trying some fish attractants this year for salmon. I see there are alot of them on the market, whats the best or some idea on whats good or bad. Im going to try the downrigger weights from cabelas that have a scent realese in the nose. Any ideas would be great. Thanks. Chris.

Cheaper alternative - Tie a 4" strip of wool yarn that's been soaked with "smelly jelly" below the release.
