The lake in front of Brontë is really really brown. Likely from that big rain the other day. Does anybody have any comments on whether that's a good thing or bad thing?

Thanks

Was the water muddy you while you were out? I fish there for a few days in the last week. And have nothing at all.

My brother and I fished Bronte yesterday. We ended up 6/9. Almost all fish were caught in 50-60' of water on wire dipsy, SD and flies. Biggest fish of the day was this 25lbs king.

We landed this beaut in 50 FOW on a green ladder back J-Plug. Held on for 7th place on the GOSD leaderboard in the final week. Looking forward to the Fish Off! 27.98#

Heard other reports that things are great right now. Gonna try and head out this weekend for another go at it!

Beauty fish boy!

Took a chance on Monday and headed out to 200 FOW...ended up going 14 for 16 (6 were shakers).... biggest was 14 lbs.

Went with a newbie so it was just nice to have a steady bite!

Nothing huge but it was a pleasant change from the tough summer of fishing it has been!
