How has the fishing in barcelona been?  Plan on going this weekend. three weeks ago we were out all we caught was sheephead one steelhead and white bass. looking for some tips i'm new at fishing lake erie.

went out sat. we got 2 walleye 75 ft  250  back on slide diver. 4 steelhead on black and white plug  40 down on rigger . and a lot of white bass  will be back this weekend to try for more walleye.

The Tiger lilies have bloomed along the lakeshore road so the walleyes are ready to be caught now.

Has anyone ever ventured off shore towards the Canadian line? I am trying to recall how far out we used to fish, back in the day when we chartered out with Cuda Charters out of Monroe Marina, but I remember some days it was a complete box out with 6 people on board. Mid 1990's, so that may have been a different era population wise.
