Cayuga 7/2

Recommended Posts

Made a quick trip last night after work hoping the storms would hold off til after dark. Launched at T-falls and headed north at 6:30. Worked from 90 to 150fow for a bit, not much there. Starting to look kinda nasty to northwest so decided to make loop and head south working deeper water. Picked up an Atlantic and 3 small Lakers out deep. Things just starting to get good, north wind kicks up, really looking nasty and looks to be chasing us. Decided to pick up and call it a night. Got 2 rods in out of 9 rod spread when the wall of rain caught up to us. Must have rained an inch in the time it took to clear the rest of the rods. Rained so hard couldn't see shore in any direction. I think we could have jumped in the lake and stayed drier! Lol!
