Cleaning and protecting clear vinyl windows

Bad Habit

Recommended Posts

Had new canvas made

Last year and was wondering what is recommended for cleaning and protecting the vinyl windows (eisenglass?) so far I've just used warm water and soft cloth but thought there must be a good way to protect it too. Found mixed ideas on the internet so I thought I would ask here. Thanks, Rick

Ok, don't even try the pledge.... :P

Yes, plexus works....But the price of it doesn't mean you will use it as often .

We have ORIGINAL Isinglass on the Waterwolf....Been using lemon pledge on it once or twice a week for 22 years...No yellowing, still soft and subtle, rolls up and stores like a dream.

Try getting those results with the Plexus...

Talk to anybody who maintains a big sport fishermen on the ocean...sometimes they need to do their isinglass daily...what do they use?  LEMON PLEDGE.  :)

OK I will admit I have never used Pledge, but this is what I'm reading, so I don't want to even try it on my isinglass.

I've also read guys on blogs who state they used to clean their isinglass on their Jeeps and it makes an old panel

look great, but following some time, the window yellowed up.

I had to replace a panel due to bad sun damage, and that cost me a lot of money, so I don't want to mess around.
