Flea flicker line anymore?

Does Cortland or anyone else make flea ficker line anymore? I heard it was not made anymore but it always worked very well for me. Any other recommendations appreciated as well for Lake O. I dont want anything over 20 lb. test either.Thanks much. BP

Flea flicker no longer exists. However, Blood Run has Sea Flea line which is very good and doesn't have the twist issues that flea flicker had. Great knot strength too.

Yes but they only make it in 30 lb anchor rope.

I was the flea flicker on our boat yesterday. Took one of our six hits on a ten color and I had to stand at the transom to keep the fleas off. In ten colors we had three times the line would have jammed without attention

Yes Sean and I are testing 20lb files line and so far we are are not impressed with the results. We have more testing to do this week.

BPSwing I think Fishy Business on Keuka Lake had some  Flea Flicker line the last time I was there but I'm not sure what lb test it was.....He is located at 3737 Pepper Road Bluff Point NY (607) 368-2306 or (315) 719-3673  (closed Tuesdays). Could give him a call.

Check B and E tackle. I was there yesterday and 2 bulk spools were on the shelf. Not sure the # though. Sorry

I'm pretty sure I have 2 spools of 20lb flea flicker.  If you want them, you could have them for free, but would need to pick up. Too busy right now to sort out mailing/payments/etc.  Am in Oakville, ON.

They only have 30 lb spools at BE and I am not sure why Cortland has it on their site as they dont sell it there anyway.

the official word from cortland is that they have discontinued flea flicker line totally. It was not a money maker for them so the will no longer be making it.

I've used 20 and 30 lbs flea-flicker and the blood run line. They all work great for fleas! They all slip in a blacks release...use 8 twists.

I run the blood run 30 lb and run a 8 foot leader of sea gaur florocarbon 20lb works mint and no flea issues. I like the blood run better than the court land line cause it is round

How are you connecting the 2 ? back to back uni knot or barrel swivel or other? This is what I will have to do without 20# FF available.Thanks

I connect them with a micro swivel no issues bringing line and swivel through rod eyes and on to the reel
