Spoons for browns in the spring

Wondering what everybodies favorites are for inshore browns in the spring. I have had good luck with NK 28 Money and Green alewife pirate run down 5 feet and back 50.

For the browns in shallow water we use floating plugs like #9 Rapala's. They keep the snag hangups down.

We really like the Dreamweaver 42nd spoon and the Northern King Glow Frog in the spring for browns. Also get quite a few fish on Mulatto's and Spooks.

Dreamweaver Lemon Ice and a Glow Green Evil Eye are two mainstays for us.

Seems more of the big boys come on spoons rather than sticks.

Be sure to run your boards right on the shore line a lot of times they will be in less than 1ft of water.

1.) Any Dreamweaver SuperSlim spoon - but especially Lemon Ice, Orange Crush, or anything w/ red and orange

2.) " 5 of Diamonds" - Take an old Pirate size 44 all silver spoon (can still get them at Renosky.com), put chartreuse prism tape on the inside of the spoon along with 5 red or orange 1/4" "dots" in the pattern of the 5 like on a side of a dice
