Out of Braddocks 8/5 pm

Fished from 5-8 last night worked from 85' out to 120' 2 riggers with spoons wire dipsey with ff echip combo and 300 copper with carbon 14. caught 3 fish 2 lakers and a steely. Lots of marks and lookers but not many takers. Im thinking my down speed is to slow at 2.0 - 2.2. Im going back out tonight and trying faster speed 2.6 - 2.8 and see what happens. Im catching too many lakers caught fish on 50' rigger wire dipsey back 200 on 2 setting and 300 copper and we dropped another off the copper

My radio broke need to get new one but $ is tight right now. Catching so many lakers even my girlfriend is getting bored of them. They dont fight hard this time of yr just dead weight coming to the boat.

Yea speed up for sure. We usually troll around 2.7 downspeed. If you are getting Lakers than you r goin too slow. Sorry Gambell.

try out a bit deeper, I also was out for an hour or so around noon yesterday off the river It was just to sporty to fish by myself,I fished for an hour picked up 1 big laker in 75FOW( was targeting browns) then pull up and called it a day. Almost zero fleas on my line

i didnt pick up many fleas at all even on dipsey rod.
