Big board fishing for browns

Been out 2 times and have not done well. Iam new to this fishing and see boat after boat land fish. I run my lines 80ft off the boards and run 2.0 to 2.8 mph, also I look for 45 to 47 degree water but still only get 1 or 2 fish each time NEED HELP!!!!!!! any thing would be fine :?

JV Try running those stick baits a little farther back. I usually run my outside rods 200-225 back and then a little shorter on each rod closer to the boat. If I'm running shallow riggers I tend to run them 100 back. Now One thing I use is Flourocarbon. I usually have around 50 ft of Flouro as a leader. If the water gets gin clear, the line makes a difference....

dont beat yourself up, somedays no matter how hard you fish, it might only produce a couple of fish. when fish are spooky or inactive (in the shallows) i typically lower my speed, lengthen my leads, widen my spread, and downsize my baits.
