Looking to get out of Sodus Tomorrow..

Looking to get out of Sodus tomorrow, have about a 2 hour drive to get up there, weather says 1 to 2 footers for tomorrow, which doesn't seem bad.

 

Just looking for some info on weather if its worth the drive up.

Ok. Thanks I don't have a small craft but don't want to take a newbie on rough waters. Wouldn't be fun for him. Guess I'll stay home and watch some football.

I'm gonna head up and try it out, I live 1 hour away too.  I have a 20 footer cc that is built as an "offshore bay boat", so it handles waves very well.  If we have to, we'll sit on our buddy's sailboat and drink coffee until the waves die down.

well, turns out waves are 4ft already, only going to get worse.  Headed to Cayuga instead.

It is way rougher than 4s out right now. I fished tonight and it is well over 6 footers out in 100 foot. And was still building. Buoy data is showing over 4.3! Tomorrow they are calling for 3-5s and with a 10-15 out of the nw its gunna be solid 4s. But suppose to calm down for the afternoon.

I was just on the beach at port bay . sunset was nice the lake is Ricking with 3-5 footers
