Early Goose

Anyone wacking any geese?  Many of the properties I formerly are no longer available to me. I haven't been out yet but hope to get in a few shoots latter in the early season. We do have access to a farm in St Lawrence County that is generally very good once a few migratory birds move down. The good thing is the farmer is marrying my sister-in -law in a month so I should have access for a long time!

Seen a lot on opening weekend but it seems as they disappeared now. With this change in weather they should be back. I work in st law county and it is thin up there as we'll.

not a banner start kevin but we wacking birds every weekend....Jefferson county seems to be the best right now....few guys chopping corn down this way so going to get better....soon as I get a good field working i'll give ya a shout an we'll smack a few.....be good to see ya again

We've got a lease in the LaFargeville / Clayton area. Been out 3 times and killed birds 2. Very slow start compared to years past for us.

 I smacked the walleyes again this morning and heard a few geese passing over. Perhaps the cold front will bring some migratory birds.We have a goose hunt planned with friends on the 21st near Resselear Falls for my brother-in-law to be's pre-wedding send off followed by a pheasant hunt on a game farm and a walleye feed.

 I would enjoy spending time together again Todd. You're more than welcome to join me for walleyes  or salmon anytime, although my Lund isn't the rig you're use to fishing out of.!

I'm in Niagara county. Ive Heard some shooting, none for me yet. Last Sunday seen good number of birds flying but kept spooking from are blinds? The canal and golf courses are loaded. Everywhere u can't hunt lol. Hoping sat morning will be good!

Final have a chance to try the geese in the morning. I'm hunting with a longtime friend, his son, and grandsons.on his property. Three generations and I  can remember hunting with his son when he was just getting started many years ago. Hope the boys get some shooting!

I finally got after the geese this morning with Alan Hunter, his son  Michael and two grandsons. I remember when Michael was first hunting with his dad and I many years ago. Great spending time together and the hunt was good as well. Now I have a bunch of geese to clean!
