Off the Genny 9-13 Thompson Gunner

Headed straight over to the river this morning and set up in 35 fow. Took one king about 8-10lbs fairly quickly on an NK 28 black and white on a small dipsy about 50 ft. back. Nothing happening for the rest of the morning until we got out front of I-Bay. One small brown there on a Stinger blue dolphin off of a downrigger. It is nice to fish in the cooler weather.

Did you run any j- plugs in front of the river?

We ran lots of plugs in front of the river yesterday morning and couldnt get any of them to fire. We ended up getting them on old school dodgers with flies.

What lead do you typically run behind the slide diver? I wonder if I run the lead too long sometimes

For a little while we did. We didn't get in real close though. It was already pretty crowded from the looks of it.
