VHF fishing channels

Finally broke down and bought one but don’t know how to use it!!! I just need a list of channels to add to my scan list memory and don’t know where to start? I guess I could put all 88 in but I don’t think I need them can some one give me a top ten most used for fishing the lake O south shore Rochester finger lakes area

81 views and not a single reply? I don't fish the Rochester area but some of the most widely used are 10-60-68-80-82. Others use the lower such 5-9. 19 and 66 Hopefully someone from your area will chime in on this. But I hope this helps-

Out of the Genny, 8 is probably most popular. Some chatter on 2 thru 7, then 68-71 for the scramblers. Occassionally some on 72 but not many.

Yeah, and most of us out of Oswego are on 69. I'd was just wondering if LOU members would use a universal channel when fishing different ports. Hank suggested CH 14. That sounds good to me. Anybody else? Think it will work? Will everyone monitor it?

I think the L.O.U. members having a dedicated channel is a great idea!!! I'll go program it into my scan bank this afternoon. 14 works for me!
