3 1/2" size spoons I had great success last spring with finger lakes tackle spoons and stingers

I use sampo 35# ball baearing swivels with coastal lock for browns they are tiny and don't seem to scare the browns away

a good quality snap swivel makes changing lures alot easier and quicker.as far as spoons get a good collection of different colors cause what works one day might not work the next.also have some sticks to mix in cause some days they want spoons and some days they want sticks.

wind and weather is going to dictate where you fish.plan on spending time looking for a 1 or 2 degree differnce in water temp.after a good rain or blow you will be looking for a mud line.we had our best fishing from catfish to the high rocks, but fished anywhere from the big river to the plant!!!again depending on water temp.
