Rust-Oleum Boat Bottom Antifouling Paint

Wasn't aware Rustoleum made bottom paint. My advice to anyone purchasing a new to them  boat that they will keep in the water is bite the bullet and get it stripped down. Unless its been done already, you can see any blisters and then apply barrier coats. This avoids water infiltration. After that you can apply the teflon paint like VC-17 or the new West marine version. With this stuff you will never again need to sand, and it goes on like film, avoiding build up. The only time I would not suggest using this type of paint is if you will be docked in real sluggish water and will go several weeks inbetween uses.
