Hi all, I'm Isabelle, from Belgium. I've been fishing for the past five years, mostly in Belgium and France but i'm visiting Ontario next July with my boygriend and parents.

I don't own a boat but rather a couple of kayaks (inflatable ones) which allows fishing in the middle of water witout the nuisance of a motor (no offense to those who do, it's just a personal choice).

I'm personaly a fan of baitcasting rather than spinning, I started baitcasting this year and am not going back

Welcome to LOU Isabelle. Best of luck fishing and stay safe if you fish Lake Ontario.....it can be a challenging place for a kayak. Hopefully you won't be in the "middle of the water" with it out there

Hello Isabella, I as well as my friend fish lake Ontario out of a kayak. From 2-4 miles out on the lake. Big factor is weather and wind. What type of kayak do you use. I also fish saltwater as well as some of the other lakes. I am sure we can be of assistance.
