I've been running it. Catches fish with no issues. Takes up less space on a reel.

Too difficult to tell with leadcore.  It won't be deeper by much...really a non-factor IMO.

We ran the 18 pound last year.  I like it.  As stated, does not take up as much room on the reel, doesn't wear you out as much as the heavier leadcores and we caught our largest King on it last year, so that makes it liked even more.

Weigh spool if heavier than standard product then it will go deeper due to weight & profile . If weighs less than it may run same depths per speed but depends on lure & speed for sure .

I had some fly line shooting heads that were tungsten cored , spliced & added above leader , these provided more depth while NOT adding any weights . This material was very thin & insured a fast sink rate! U could make up various lengths & add as needed just loop on off real quick!
