The ice never formed that far down it was about to the Hobart/William Smith dock at the furthest. The rest of the north end has been and remains a big question mark as there are some openings in the canal area on the east side and if they decide to start pulling water the whole ice shelf will be history.

There have been guys in boats out at Sampson out from the breakwall right along last few weeks but from what I hear the action has slowed right down now....the same casting from the wall.

Went out Sunday afternoon...stopped at Roy's for bait and ran to and launched at Severne Point wide open and ice free. Didn't find them. Guys were launching and running to Sampson on the open water from Roy's. On the drive back up it looked like floating ice in two large clusters, north of Dresden. Could have been snow geese hard to tell, guessing it was ice, as it would have been two large large flocks. (so be careful...)
