Got the boat out for the initial launch of the season out of bear creek. No dock, shallow, shallow water until you get well past the point. Some spots barely hit 2'. Buddy and I started about 9ish and fished until 1pm. Missed a few and boated 3 browns and one real nice steel head. Water Temps ranged from 36 to 42 in about 8'. Very little colored water and most was crystal clear. Few guys fishing in front of Ginna because the bouys aren't in yet. Beautiful day to be on the lake.

Nice job! Pretty sure u were setting up as we trolled heading east in the black lund. We boated 7 browns. Got 2 near ginna then the others to the east. Silver black seemed the best color. Clear clear water for sure! kinda curious how the two drift boats... and the guy anchored in the restricted area did.

The drift boats seemed to be netting a few fish. Man those guys must have powerful arms and shoulders. We were getting tired watching them paddle.
