Last year it seemed like every other brown we caught had more than one lamprey mark on them

It's posts like this that are always a joy to see and read. I think all of us Dads get especially connected to seeing a Dad fish with his children and the joy they have in their expressions.  Especially daughters! Excellent job! Quite obvious she is her Daddy's girl.

Said perfectly, for some reason I have the patience of a saint with children who are willing to give fishing a try, I can deal with the worst birds nest and try to show them the ropes and deal with the old.saying "Dad I can do it" and it turns out to be a disaster LOL. But when us "MEN" go and things go wrong it's a different story, I don't act like an a$$ but I do get annoyed under my hat, Why is this?

A+      I've got twin 3 yr olds that are chomping at the bit to go this year too.  I can't wait![/quote

DJ I have twin girls also, they just turned 10. At the age of three they started also, each got their own Barbie pole, and we practiced casting in the drive way, with a Hoola Hoop and once they got 7 out of 10 casts in the hoop, which didn't take long we were off to the stream or lake. It's awsome, you will have a blast. I can't wait to get them on the lake this year!!
