Hi all, my name is john, I'm retired and live in NJ. I fished the Mexico bay area over 25 years ago and am looking to get back into it. I really enjoyed catching those nice browns in the spring. I have a small 16' boat and have been trying to set it up for a spring trip.  I have read some of your posts and it is great that so many people are willing to share  their knowledge with all of us. It really helps when you are just starting out.  looking forward to talking to many of you.

Jason, thanks for the welcome. I fish lake Hopatcong quite a bit for walleye and hybrids, not sure how long ago you lived there, but the state has done a pretty good job with the walleye and hybrids in that lake, just a lot of guys. I am hoping to get up and fish Mexico bay area within the next week or two. I know I will have many questions before then, thank you for your offer, I will be contacting you.
