Port Bay ice out?

Is there any ice left in Port Bay?  Is the road to the launch by the lake open?  The ramp there is in deep water where the South end is shallow.

As I said in previous posts, the bay is clear of ice, the road is open to the north boat ramp (no dock yet), and if you have a small boat (say 16 footer) you should be able to get by the stone bar across the channel.  There is about 2-3 foot of water flowing out.

Saturday April 18th they had two cranes dredging the channel.  Not sure if they will still be there on Sunday.

According to a source on Facebook it's open. Don't take my work for it. They were digging it out Wednesday and this morning so could very well be.
