Copper releases

What's the best releases for running copper on big boards?...... I only have a 300 copper....

I run the scotty plainer releases.  Buy the double stackers and cut the line.  Buy some shower curtain hooks at the dollar store and you get two for the price of one.

Hello

i use shower curtain hooks with diff size rubber band

depending on drag and water current strong or calm

 

all bough in dollard store

i'm to poor to use scotty release

I have tried the rubberband thing.... And the power pro seems to slip right through so I can't ever get it to the board....

I also spliced in 6' of 50lb mono on all my coppers to clip on to.  The releases hold a lot better on the mono.

Gambler..... What knot do you use for mono to power pro?.... Or do you use a spro swivel?

I use a uni to uni on the mono to power pro knot.  On the mono copper end, I use a spro with the haywire twist and shrink tubing.

Blacks inline with rubberbands. Work great and adjustable.

I run 10 ft of mono between the braid and copper also. Albright both end

Scotty's.  clipped right to the braid and sent down the tow line. Hold tight with no false releases.
