Seneca ROMULUS PARK AREA

Recommended Posts

Seneca has been a tough one this year for many. My best advice would be try right in front of the marina as a start. drops off quick from there to main basin . Usually a good area. flasher fly for lakers and smaller spoons (stinger scorpions or dreamweaver ss sizes) work best for me for landlocks and browns. . green and black usually a good start and work from there. Fleas will prob be pretty good that time of year as well as floating weed pods. If east side is crapped up straight across from the marina west side  pretty good summer spot too. Good luck!

What he said above is dead on. Don't be afraid to fish the middle of the lake if 120 foot isn't productive. Fish the suspended fosh out in the middle towards the barge 65 to 120 down.

Good luck.

John, just to add, if your having some tough mornings, I wouldn't be afraid to move on over to Cayuga for a morning. It's dead west of where you are and a launch there Deans Cove is easy access. I know it's nice to get up and get in the boat on Seneca right there at camp, but it just might make the difference.
