Just got out with Tracy's nephew on a combo troll and immediately he picks up this nice 4 pounder on spin tackle off the rigger...stinger in confusion down 28 over 60

I enjoy writing em!! It's fun to go back n read them from 2-3 years ago and I think....why did I stop doing this or that or why did I ever do it that way. Had a lot of fun with no gear and 3 used makeshift rods pulling any lure I had left...caught plenty of fish like that too!

I use spinning rods on lake o , and some old deep sea reels, I have them and they work and they are paid for.

 

Working on building my arsenal as money allows.

Short setbacks off the riggers is a ball on spin tackle....much better than winching them in....these are the same denali rosewoods with the new stradics that I use on casting trips.

Nice job, and some good looking walleyes, too.  I hate having to leave when the bite is on!!  One of the worst feelings there is, besides losing a big fish, that is!!  I think that kid will be a fisherman for life after catching some 'eyes like that!!
